BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Tuesday met representatives from 12 countries under the party’s “KNOW BJP” initiative, marking his first formal interaction with foreign diplomats since assuming charge. The meeting was a part of the party’s continued outreach to the international diplomatic community, an initiative started by former BJP president J.P. Nadda
Heads of missions from 12 nations participated in the interaction in which Vijay Chauthaiwale, who heads the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department, was also present.

Chauthaiwale told media persons that there was a lot of natural curiosity among the diplomats about the BJP’s future directions. “After the initial remarks, there was quite a good sharing of experiences and question-answer sessions. Their questions were mainly on the BJP’s future plans, BJP’s ideology, organisation, and also what we plan to do for the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision of 2047.”
“It was his ( Nabin’s) first engagement, and therefore, there was a lot of natural curiosity among the diplomats about the BJP’s future directions,” he added.
The programme is a part of the series of programmes aimed at familiarising the diplomatic community with the BJP’s historical journey, ideology, organisational structure, governance model and ongoing activities.
Launched in 2023 by Nadda, it is designed to familiarise diplomats and foreign representatives with the BJP’s ideological roots, political evolution, organisational model and governance approach.
